Best Antiviruses With VPN Bundles
Many security suites provide the VPN as part of their bundle and can be beneficial in the case of an all-in-one solution. The bundles are quite inexpensive, and you’ll get two great tools for the price one. However not all offer the same quality. Some are very restricted, while others – like Surfshark Antivirus and its next-generation VPN can stand up to standalone solutions.
When you pair an anti-virus system with a VPN your internet traffic will be routed through a tunnel encrypted to secure your data from the surveillance. This keeps advertisers away from tracking your online activities. It also can aid in overcoming geographic restrictions that may hinder your access to certain content or services.
In general, antivirus-bundled VPNs do not compare to top standalone VPNs, but some of them – – like TotalAV’s Safe Browsing VPN – are good. It’s not equipped with the latest security features like RAM-only servers and perfected forward secrecy, and an audited policy of no-logs that the best standalone VPNs do, but it’s fast and secure, and integrates with popular torrenting and streaming applications.
MacKeeper is a different option. Its malware scanner scored well in my tests, and it also comes with a reliable VPN that supports streaming through dedicated P2P servers. It’s easy to use and has decent speeds. It also has a no-logs policy independently verified by Deloitte. CyberGhost, an all-encompassing solution that offers a kill button for unexpected drops in connection, split tunnelling, and 256-bit AES encrypted data, is another alternative.
